Welcome back

We are looking forward to welcoming our clients back into our salons and barbershops from 4th July. Whilst we are still awaiting confirmed government guidelines we have hygiene and safety measures already in place for your protection. There is a restriction on styling stations due to social distancing and for this reason we have implemented a price increase and there will be no walk in services available at present. We thank you for your support and understanding. Please book online although be aware this may be subject to change as we get further information - keep safe.

Covid-19 Notice
The government have updated their guidelines and from 8 August 2020 all clients must wear a face mask in our salons and barbers, children under the age of 11 are exempt. Please be aware despite our best efforts face masks may be unavoidably tinted during colouring services.

As our salons re-open, we want to let you know about the new measures that have been put in place in our salons and barbers. We know some of you will be feeling so excited about coming in to see us while others will be feeling somewhat nervous and anxious. It is our goal that every single one of you can feel comfortable in our salon. All our services are booked in advance and we are kindly asking that you:
  • Arrive alone for your appointment
  • Wait outside the door in fresh air if you are early for your appointment. We appreciate your prompt arrival. If you are late, we may have to reschedule
  • Use our hand sanitisers when you arrive at the Salon/barbers, you will find stations around the building
  • Keep a space of 2 metres between you and anyone else in the salon
  • Do not touch or shake hands with anyone else in the salon
  • We would welcome bank card payments

We are also asking customers to reschedule your appointment if:
  • You have experienced any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days
  • Have been in contact with anyone with cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days

So that our salon is as safe as possible, you will have a slightly different salon experience than before:
  • Apart from water, food and beverage service has been suspended
  • Please limit the amount of personal items you bring with you into the salon you will be invited to place coats in our wardrobe
  • Appointments and styling stations are spaced out to reduce the number of people present and to allow extra time for cleaning
  • Sanitising of personal spaces and hand washing will take place in between clients. As well as more frequent cleaning of high touch common area surfaces
  • Staff have been informed and trained on sanitisation and hygiene best practices
  • Our staff will be wearing visors and using disposable gowns, gloves and capes

Our award winning colourists specialise in a wide variety of colouring techniques to suit all needs, from classic highlighting fashion colouring techniques.

From classic highlights and tints for grey hair coverage through to fantasy rainbow shades, our colour service menu has options to suit your lifestyle, commitment to colour and budget. Quick express colour techniques add a flash of interest or are a great introduction to colouring, toners change the warmth or coolness of a colour and are particularly good for removing unwanted gold tones in blondes, and combination colouring gives you a wider palate for a more blended or contrasting look. We offer semi-permanent, quasi and permanent colours and a Color Fresh take home colour.

Changes uses UK market leader Wella Professionals for all our colour services. As a colour brand leader with Wella, we can offer you a wide range of choices in colours and techniques, including their most advanced and innovative permanent colour Koleston Perfect ME+. Launched in September 2018, this is a revolutionary colour that is PPD and PTD free, reducing the risk of developing and allergy by 60 times. The ME+ molecule is their purest colour offering balanced results that are even root to tip with natural depth and shine and less damage to hair after colour.

Although the risk of developing a colour allergy is greatly reduced with Koleston Perfect ME+, at Changes we take colouring seriously and therefore we are unable to commence a colour service without conducting and recording a colour patch test a minimum of 48 hours before commencing your first colour service. We then update this test and record it on your client record card annually.
